How do I get to the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Hotel?

Do I have to pay the GST Tax?
The GST is a 5% tax charged on most goods and services sold within Canada. As a visitor in Canada you will still have to pay the tax on most of the goods that you purchase, although under the Visitor Rebate Program you may receive a refund on most of your purchases including accommodations, provided that your stay is less than one month per lodging established. What is the weather like in Vancouver?
Warmed by Pacific Ocean currents and protected by a range of mountains, Vancouver enjoys mild temperatures year-round. From high 70's Fahrenheit (low 20's Celsius) in summer to a mild mid 40's Fahrenheit (0º to 5º Celsius) in winter, the climate is always hospitable. Our winters are wet, but it rarely snows, except on our local ski hills. Layers will provide you with the warmest insulation, and make it easy for you to cool down by just taking off a layer. What is the electric current in Canada?

What is the currency in Canada?
Canadian dollars are used in Canada. American money is also accepted by most retailers in Canada, although visitors are recommended to exchange their local currency into Canadian Funds. Where can I exchange currency?
You can exchange currency at Royal Bank, TD Bank, North Shore Credit Union or at a currency exchange service such as Custom House Currency Exchange.

Do I need a passport to get into Canada?
Citizens or permanent residents of the United States do not require any visas or passports to enter Canada. Passports are recommended but not necessary. Where passports are not available, US citizens should carry 2 pieces of identification. One piece should show their citizenship (e.g. a birth certificate) and the second should be an identification card with a photo (e.g. a driver's license).
